News Welcome to our section covering the latest news from Moonraker Beds. In May 2006 we are celebrating our third birthday and will be launching a birthday celebration model called Brasilia featuring all the high specification detail expected from Moonraker beds. An extra firm MB245 spring unit, fully framed, will be coupled with five layers of luxury upholstery under a high quality cream woven damask. The hand tufted finish ensures that the filling layers are held securely in place. With so much upholstery the mattress offer a supportive yet extremely comfortable feel and we are sure that this model will add to the successful range we produce. 2006 has been a fantastic year for our company with sales increasing well ahead of last year and our reputation for quality and service growing within the retail sector.We pride ourselves on our flexible approach to our customers needs and we are proud to have been listed an an exceptional performer in nine categories within a recent UK bed industry study. Our thanks go to all our staff who have contributed to our success. From a news perspective we have recently exported further products to the Falkland Islands and, for the first time, St Helena. We have also despatched a large mattress order to Korea. We continue to explore other opportunities for the company elsewhere in the world - watch this space ! Factory Extended Moonraker Beds has recently completed its move into an adjoining unit to double the size of the factory. The new unit now houses our divan production line and has allowed us to increase storage area for component parts to enable us to increase production and maintain our quick delivery lead times.
